Ed and Elizabeth have been married for 32 years and have 10 children. Although being “city people”, they stepped out in faith after retiring from the military and began their homesteading journey in 2015 with a desire to cultivate a stronger family life and improve their health. It has not always been an easy journey as the learning curve was steep! Founders of The Belted Honeysuckle Farmstead, we are proud to offer beef, chicken, pork (new this year), eggs and herdshares for raw milk. We have a passion for mentoring others to feel confident in their ability to produce their own food in a sustainable way. In this endeavor, Elizabeth founded the Catholic Land Movement, Cincinnati Chapter, which has regular workshops on various homesteading topics throughout the year.
